Life Sciences Equipment Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Service Engineer to join the Life Sciences service team, supporting healthcare equipment across hospitals and medical facilities. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll work with a well-respected company known for high-impact medical solutions, delivering seamless operation and top-tier service of essential medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Build and maintain client relationships, providing clear and professional service and communication.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular testing, calibration, and servicing of equipment to meet industry standards.
- Problem Solving: Apply strong diagnostic skills to resolve mechanical and electrical issues in the field.
- Inventory Management: Maintain a well-stocked inventory of spare parts for quick response times.
- Documentation: Complete service reports, compliance records, and validation reports accurately and on time.
- Support Services: Provide essential out-of-hours support on a rota basis to ensure customer needs are met.
For this role, we're looking for someone with a recognised qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering, and experience in a field service environment, ideally within the medical or technical services sector. Excellent communication skills and an eagerness to deliver outstanding service to clients are essential. You will be required to travel frequently, up to 80% of the time.
