Job Overview

This Equipment Maintenance Specialist position is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join our client's team based near Nottingham. As an integral part of the Engineering & Manufacturing division, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of plant process machinery and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Planned maintenance work on equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  2. Emergency call-outs to attend site or via remote connection to address critical issues.
  3. Writing professional reports detailing site visits and maintenance activities.
  4. Liaising with the Engineering Manager and Project Manager to provide accurate estimates of maintenance timescales and requirements.
  5. Supporting commissioning staff during installation and commissioning duties.
Requirements:
  1. A relevant engineering or technical qualification, such as an apprenticeship or HNC, is preferred.
  2. Ideal candidates will have previous experience as a maintenance engineer with both electrical and mechanical expertise.
  3. Experience or ability to demonstrate understanding of basic programming using Rockwell (Allen Bradley) or Siemens PLCs is beneficial.
  4. The successful candidate must be based local to Nottinghamshire, as regular attendance at head office may be required for mechanical/electrical machine build and test operations.
