Polytec Personnel Ltd is seeking a skilled Planning Manager to oversee operations in Ely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement standard operating procedures for critical processes while training teams to adhere to these standards.
  • Facilitate a seamless flow of materials from inventory through production to quality inspection and shipping.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Perform root cause analysis and lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing PDCA or lean methodologies.
  • Provide support for onsite production scheduling and manage team rotations to ensure equitable workload distribution.
  • Ensure all team members comply with personal protective equipment (PPE) regulations and safe working practices.
  • Inspire and motivate team members while conducting regular performance reviews and one-on-one meetings.
  • Manage return-to-work interviews and oversee disciplinary procedures as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in Planning, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain Management.
  • A proactive attitude towards continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Flexibility in work hours to accommodate onsite production scheduling needs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train, mentor, and present innovative ideas.
  • Proficient in computer use and familiar with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 2012 is advantageous.
