Lead Engineer Opportunity

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join their team at their factory in Ely, Cambridgeshire. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for all manufacturing and packaging machinery in the state-of-the-art factory.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They will be multi-skilled, holding an engineering qualification and able to work a panama Days and Nights shift pattern.

The Lead Engineer will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance tasks, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of all manufacturing and packaging machinery. They will work closely with the production team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of all manufacturing and packaging machinery
  • Plan and execute maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Work closely with the production team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements:
  • Strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Proven track record of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Multi-skilled, holding an engineering qualification
