We have an exciting opportunity for a Packing Operative to join our team, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 6am. This role offers the chance to earn up to £14.26/hour, depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Pack individual vacuum-packed cuts of meat into specified containers or boxes
  • Recognise and label different cuts of meat correctly
  • Place trays or boxes on correct pallets according to customer specification
  • Straighten pre-pack bags on production line
  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner to meet daily targets
  • Perform pre-start, hygiene, and safety checks as instructed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in high-volume meat processing beneficial
  • Able to work in chilled environment
  • Manual handling ability and awareness
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Flexibility to meet daily production targets
  • Strong work ethic and adaptability
