Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at One Stop. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the team to deliver a seamless shopping experience for customers
  • Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and feedback to team members to improve their skills and performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve store performance and implement practical actions to achieve results
  • Ensure the store is always clean, tidy, and well-presented
  • Prioritize the replenishment of products to meet customer demand
  • Manage queues and provide excellent customer service to resolve issues promptly
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to coordinate seasonal, community, and charity events
  • Monitor and report on store performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and team engagement
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, security, and customer service standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including store layout, visual merchandising, and inventory management
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
