**Job Description:** Compliance Officer

**Overview**

Taiko is a leading manufacturer of sushi, food to go, prepared meals, and snacking products. We are seeking a skilled Compliance Officer to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of quality and safety.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Manage non-conforming materials and conduct GMP audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Review manufacturing records and implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Develop internal auditing tools and implement data-driven quality improvements.

**Requirements:**

  • 2+ years of experience working with quality systems.
  • 2+ years food manufacturing experience, preferably in a technical role.
  • Level 3 HACCP qualification.
  • Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
  • Auditor Qualification.
  • Recognised allergen qualification.
  • Basic understanding of customer codes of practice (e.g. allergen, labelling and coding, and foreign body detection).
  • Training in root cause analysis methods and tools.
  • Train the trainer qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
