About this role:

We are currently seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in schools across Selby. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of additional needs, ensuring they can access a full and inclusive education.

Salary: £28-£38 per hour (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to students with special educational needs. This may involve adapting lesson plans, assisting with classroom activities, and providing one-to-one support as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable
