About the Role

We are seeking a Supportive Educational Assistant to join our team in the Selby area. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting students' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering lessons, providing individualized support to students to reinforce learning and understanding.
  • Individualized Support: Provide tailored support to students with additional needs, ensuring they can fully participate and progress in their studies.
  • Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting good behaviour and engagement among students.
  • Resource Preparation: Assist with preparing and organizing learning materials to support lesson delivery.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role is preferred.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Adaptable and reliable, with flexibility to work in different schools and adapt to varying classroom environments.
