Job Title: Lived Experience Rehabilitation Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Lived Experience Rehabilitation Worker. This role is perfect for someone who has experienced addiction or mental health issues and is passionate about supporting others on their recovery journey.

About the Role

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until March 2025. As a Lived Experience Rehabilitation Worker, you will work with clients to support their recovery from addiction or mental health issues. You will use your own lived experience to connect with clients and provide them with the support and guidance they need to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to clients to help them achieve their recovery goals
  • Work with clients to develop and implement personalized recovery plans
  • Provide education and support to clients on addiction and mental health issues
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide a comprehensive support service
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to develop your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Experience of addiction or mental health issues
  • Ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
