About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Tenancy Management Specialist to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing excellent tenancy sustainment support to ensure that tenancies in the private rented sector are sustained, providing safe and secure housing for our customers while meeting local and corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality advice, lettings, and tenancy sustainment services to maximize the number of homeless households who can move successfully into good quality, affordable private rented accommodation.
  • Work effectively with landlords, letting agents, and other accommodation suppliers to promote the use of the private rented sector as a viable alternative to social rented housing.
  • Provide excellent customer care and customer service to individuals who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, in housing need, and/or living in unsatisfactory housing.
  • Collaborate with private sector landlords and/or within a homelessness context to achieve settled housing solutions and reduce the Council's use of temporary accommodation.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of effectively working with landlords, letting agents, and other accommodation suppliers.
  • Experience of working with people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, in housing need, and/or living in unsatisfactory housing.
  • Experience of providing an excellent level of customer care and customer service in a comparable customer service environment.
  • Experience of working effectively with private sector landlords and/or within a homelessness context.
