About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team in Felixstowe, working on a late shift basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic and technical support to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are repaired to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic and technical support to customers, accurately specifying repair solutions
  • Specify repair solutions to facilitate the production of quotes and works orders
  • Ensure timely handover of completed jobs to the Customer Service Representative for invoicing
  • Carry out effective shift handover, including any outstanding repair orders and customer issues
Requirements
  • HGV Technician City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to understand and analyze technical issues, proposing appropriate solutions
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £56,000 basic, with overtime rate at £40.50
  • A 40-hour basic week on the late shift, plus every other week on call-out
