Are you a seasoned finance professional looking for a challenging role that utilizes your analytical skills? AFR Consulting is seeking a Senior Financial Planner to join their team in Lancashire. This FMCG manufacturing company operates across two sites, creating and distributing products globally.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have experience in preparing budgets, reporting variances, and analyzing costs. You will work closely with department heads to improve efficiencies and drive performance. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing budgets for all departments
- Reporting of variances against budget
- Preparation of forecasts with detailed analysis
You will be working with SAGE 200 and should be comfortable manipulating large volumes of data in Excel into meaningful reports and analysis for non-finance managers. An accounting qualification is not necessary, but previous experience of owning the process of preparing budgets and forecasts will be essential.
This is a unique opportunity to join a business with a family feel and collaborative culture. The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
