Job Summary
A dynamic and friendly Catering team seeks an accomplished Junior Sous Chef to join their ranks in Cambridge. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences that meet the highest standards. This full-time, permanent role presents an exciting opportunity for personal and professional growth.

About the Position
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head Chef/Catering Director and will be responsible for assisting in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation. A good breadth of experience, skills, and achievements gained from working within a catering environment are essential. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records of food production and waste management, adhere to health and safety standards, and lead by example as a valued team member.

Main Responsibilities
• Coordinate daily service operations and ensure smooth kitchen management
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop menus and achieve financial targets
• Maintain accurate records of food production, waste, and inventory management
• Supervise duties, providing technical guidance and support to junior team members

Key Requirements
Excellent communication skills, experience working in catering environments, and the ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety. Estimated salary: £31,500 - £33,500 per annum.
