About the Role

HS2 Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Knowledge Management Specialist to join their team. This exciting opportunity will see you play a key role in delivering HS2's Learning Legacy programme, which aims to raise the bar in the wider industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and development of the Learning Legacy programme across the organisation.
  • Engage with knowledge theme leads, topic champions, and other learning legacy sources to generate learning legacy content.
  • Maintain a schedule of planned learning legacy content updates and associated timelines.
  • Review draft learning legacy content and provide constructive feedback to authors.
  • Manage the approval and publishing process with relevant colleagues from the External Affairs Directorate.
  • Edit, format, and redact Learning Legacy documents as needed.
  • Develop and manage the Learning Legacy website in collaboration with the Digital Media and Content team.
  • Upload and publish content on the learning legacy website and promote its availability across HS2, its supply chain, and the wider industry.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge management skills, including effective assessment and communication of complex information.
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to work at all levels of an organisation and build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Editorial skills, including reviewing and editing complex documentation and summarising key points articulately.
  • Organisational and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office/365, SharePoint, and WordPress.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work independently.
