We are seeking an experienced and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at TfGM. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in processing invoices, expense claims, and manual payments in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities- Process a high volume of invoices, expense claims, and manual payments, ensuring they are progressed in a timely and accurate way to meet our payment deadlines.
- Reconcile supplier statements and deal with or escalate queries promptly, working with suppliers and internal customers.
- Manage and resolve invoice queries, creating, maintaining, and updating supplier accounts.
- Support the continuous improvement of the function, providing suggestions on how processes could be more efficient.
- Experience of working within an accounts payable team, including processing of invoices on a financial ERP system.
- Excellent attention to detail and effective verbal communication skills to converse at all levels within TfGM.
- Good working knowledge of computerized systems and software, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and within a team.
- A permanent role with a salary of £26,029 - £27,841 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
- Hybrid working options, with two days in the office and one day of your choice.
- Free bus, rail, or Metrolink travel to and from work within the Greater Manchester boundary.
