Reed is seeking a skilled Product Category Manager to lead supply and stock management efforts for our client. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for negotiating and securing favorable pricing from suppliers, managing the SAP-MRP system, and driving continuous performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and secure best-in-class pricing from suppliers, providing competitive quotations for the sales team.
  • Manage the SAP-MRP system to ensure stock availability meets customer demand, optimizing inventory levels and reducing waste.
  • Drive continuous performance improvements through data analysis and process optimization.
  • Liaise and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, R&D, and NPD teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, particularly in securing favorable pricing and managing stock levels.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, with a strong understanding of stock management practices and SAP knowledge.
  • Strong MS Excel user with ability to analyze data and create reports.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills, with a willingness to engage in continuous improvement and personal development.
