About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Heritage Specialist to join our team at Enhance, where you will be responsible for crafting a variety of baked goods, from traditional Jewish pastries to modern creations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, bake, and decorate pastries, breads, and desserts in line with Jewish culinary traditions.
  • Ensure all items meet kosher standards and dietary needs.
  • Collaborate with our kitchen team to create menus for holidays and special occasions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in pastry making, ideally with Jewish pastries or desserts.
  • Knowledge of kosher requirements, understanding or willingness to learn.
  • Passion and creativity for crafting authentic, comforting, and beautiful desserts.
  • Empathy and patience to work in a care environment with seniors.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week over 5 days. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including discounted childcare, BUPA health insurance, AA breakdown cover, and much more.
