Job Purpose:
- To contribute to the delivery of an effective Children's Social Care Service, continuously improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
- To provide support and guidance to families, empowering them to make informed decisions and promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
Main Responsibilities:
- To conduct assessments, care planning, and reviews, ensuring a child-centered focus and empowering children, young people, and their families.
- To undertake direct work with children, young people, and their families in their homes and the community, safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes.
- To promote contact for children and young people with their birth family members, providing supervision and assessment in accordance with the Care Plan.
- To identify and assess levels of risk and need, delivering protective and/or supportive services for children at risk, in need, and/or looked after.
Requirements:
- Young people/children/families support and assessments.
- NVQ Level 3 in child care and education, NND, Health and Social Care qualification.
