Deputy Nursery Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education for children.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Nursery Manager in maintaining high standards of care and education, leading by example and inspiring the staff team.
- Oversee the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring educational activities meet developmental needs and are delivered effectively.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to nursery staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers, ensuring open communication and providing updates on their child's development.
- Ensure all policies and safeguarding procedures are adhered to, maintaining a safe environment for children, staff, and visitors.
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
- Proven experience of a supervisory role within an early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early years education best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
