Responsibilities:

* Conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments to support EH&S management
* Perform facility EH&S inspections and maintain relevant logs and documentation
* Oversee Hazardous Waste Storage area and ensure regulatory agency compliance
* Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations
* Provide assistance and advice on EH&S issues to make recommendations to facility management
* Develop Task Hazard Analysis (THA) with facility staff
* Assist in the development and presentation of relevant EH&S training
* Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers, employees, customers, and regulatory agencies
* Assist in administering and maintaining compliance programs
* Comply with all company and EH&S procedures and policies

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience in an Environmental Health and Safety position
* Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably in Environmental Sciences
* General knowledge of compliance of Regulatory requirements
* Environmental industry experience including experience with hazardous waste
* Technical writing experience
