Equine Veterinary Support Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist/ Administrator to join our team at Pool House Equine Hospital.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be highly organized and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. They will also be responsible for answering phones, booking appointments, handling medications, and working with vets and nurses within the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Responding to queries via phone and email
- Undertaking and maintaining effective administration processes, protocols and procedures
- Daily miscellaneous administration tasks/emails
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional, efficient administrator who can provide exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will have previous equine experience and be able to adapt to change and multitask in a busy environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous equine experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus
- Experience of working in a busy and challenging environment, with the ability to adapt to change and multitask
- Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
