Engineering Project Manager

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Lucy Electric as an Engineering Project Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to coordinate Engineering Projects and ensure they are delivered on time and to budget.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing projects from concept through to customer delivery, with strong communications and presentation skills. They will be able to influence others at all levels of the organisation and lead by example, inspiring people to do the right thing.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Engineering Projects to ensure timely delivery and within budget.
  • Influence Engineering development teams to engage in the process and provide inputs on time to meet Gate Review (GR) milestones.
  • Maintain GR documentation - project plans, budgets, and resource planning.
  • Actively manage project risks and issues.
  • Develop mitigation plans - engage with senior stakeholders to inform of project risks.
  • Annual Engineering budget creation, quarterly updates to the annual budget capturing actuals and forecast to year end.
  • Accountable for monthly project cost forecasting and monthly reporting on the status of projects.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
  • Degree equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience of managing projects from concept through to customer delivery.
  • Experience of working with mechanical / electrical products.
  • Demonstrated project management capability. Risk / issue management.
  • Strong communications and presentation skills, creative with a keen commercial awareness.

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 per annum, plus benefits.
