Trident Search's defence team is collaborating with a renowned MDR provider to expand their Advanced Security Monitoring (ASM) team. As a result of the increasing sophistication of global attacks, the client is seeking individuals who are passionate about understanding the tactics of APT groups and staying ahead of them. This role combines elements of penetration testing and threat hunting to ensure businesses remain secure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor various intelligence feeds to stay informed about emerging threats
  • Conduct threat hunting and gather open-source intelligence across multiple platforms
  • Work closely with clients to ensure their networks are prepared for similar attack vectors
  • Contribute to research and development within the team and the wider business
  • Investigate and run attack methods based on your findings

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in pentesting, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) is beneficial
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and methodologies
  • CREST and/or Offensive Security certifications like OSCP, OSEP, OSCE
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair computer systems
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients
  • A curious and analytical mindset is essential
