As a key member of eero's team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of home WiFi networks. With a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, we are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer intern to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the networking experiences for eero's whole home connectivity products. This includes investigating customer issues from production with a focus on early field failure analysis, diving deep into embedded system internals, delivering rapid board bring up and prototyping of new platforms, and working with core operating system, mobile and cloud teams to deliver features.

What You'll Do
  1. Design and implement cutting-edge network solutions to improve user experience
  2. Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to network performance and connectivity
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new product features
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in wireless networking technologies and apply this knowledge to drive innovation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in C or C++ programming language
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals such as algorithm design, data structures, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good English listening and speaking skills
  • Experience with Linux or other embedded systems
  • Proficiency in Python or Golang
  • Understanding of computer networks and/or wireless networks

We offer a competitive salary range of $**120,000 - $160,000 per year**, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
