At Cavendish Nuclear, we're working to create a safe and secure world, together. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the project meets client and statutory requirements effectively.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance works across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main MEH, cabling, and associated support services.

The Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll support the QA Area Lead in ensuring that the Project Quality Assurance requirements are understood and implemented. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Writing quality procedures \

This role is full time, with a four-day week every other week, and will be based at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater. There is a secondment allowance and accommodation available for anyone based more than two hours from the site.

Essential Experience:

  • \t
  • Significant experience in quality roles \t
  • Major construction project experience \t
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g., Oil and gas, Nuclear) \

Qualifications:

  • ONC / HNC / HND in engineering discipline \t
  • Membership of Chartered Quality Institute and IRAC auditor training \

The successful candidate must be able to achieve a minimum of BPSS security clearance for this role.
