About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Facilities Assistant to join our collaborative team at Leigh Academy Tonbridge. As a key member of our Estates Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the academy premises, ensuring the health and safety of our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with general maintenance duties, including minor repairs and refurbishment works
  • Provide porterage services and support the Facilities Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the academy
  • Work collaboratively with the Estates Team to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Support the Facilities Manager in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Perform other duties as required to support the effective operation of the academy
Requirements

We are looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking individual who is physically fit and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ideally, you will have good DIY skills, some knowledge of Health & Safety, basic IT skills, and an understanding of safeguarding.
