Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our engineering projects from initial client inquiry through to successful project completion. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Senior Project Manager. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, and exceeding customer expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, technicians, and clients to deliver high-quality projects that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field) and/or equivalent experience.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to travel to client and project sites across multiple UK locations.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, including:

Location:

This role is based in Kent, with regular travel to UK project sites and occasional visits to our office.
