We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our team at Employment Specialists Ltd. As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carefully handle the claims negotiation process with clients, underwriters, and their appointed legal representatives and or loss adjusters
- Proactively anticipate and present to clients the best settlement solution
- Provide recommendations on coverage to facilitate the settlement of claims
- Co-ordinate discussions and meetings to ensure a superior level of communication between clients, underwriters, and their representatives concerning the proposed settlement
- Use your depth of product and market knowledge to help in resolving contentious claims
- Engage and oversee third-party providers, e.g., loss adjusters, lawyers, surveyors, etc.
- Technical support for pre-renewal meetings, placing, and renewal
Requirements:
- Strong Property or Commercial claims knowledge and settlement experience
- Knowledge of FCA requirements and standards
- Confident negotiation skills
- Enthusiastic approach to client service with strong relationship-building skills
- Good analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills
