Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Burnley. The successful candidate will have strong accounting skills and experience in sales ledger and purchase ledger management.

The main responsibilities of this role include managing daily banking, customer receipts, and purchase invoices. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for the daily banking - cheques / cash / BACS
  2. Manage the accurate allocation of customer receipts
  3. Support the credit controller in managing outstanding invoices
Requirements:
  1. Strong knowledge of transactional duties and some exposure to supervising
  2. Previous Sales ledger and Purchase ledger experience
  3. Cash handling experience
