Mechanical Sales Consultant

Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in mechanical components as a Technical Sales Representative in the North West UK. With a strong focus on innovation, reliability, and service, this business has established itself as a thought leader in rotating equipment. As a key member of the Netherlands sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business generation and retaining existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic development and tactical execution of new business generation
- Retaining and growing relationships with existing customers
- Delivering focused sales campaigns driving aggressive revenue growth
- Writing business proposals, customer forecasts, and negotiating with stakeholders
- Researching business opportunities and viable additional income streams
Requirements:
- External sales experience with a technical product (ideally rotating equipment, pumps, valves, mechanical seals etc)
- Ideal experience within key industrial markets (chemical, pulp and paper, food and beverage, OEMs etc)
- Mechanical Engineering/Technical Background preferably qualified
- A strong strategic thinker with exceptional ability to develop relationships, manage key accounts, and develop new business
- An eye for upselling/cross-selling opportunities
- Excellent communication skills
- A proven track record of business-to-business sales
What We Offer:
- Basic Salary: £50,000 - £58,000
- Bonus: c£20,000 (uncapped)
