Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Runnymede, a unique and historic site with a rich cultural heritage. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring that it is safe, secure, and welcoming for visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the site's operations, including visitor experience, maintenance, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with the Property Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve visitor experience and engagement.
- Lead a small team of property and ranger staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of site operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, community groups, and volunteers.
- Contribute to the development of the site's business plan, including budgeting and financial management.
- Significant operational management experience in a busy customer-facing environment, preferably in a heritage or conservation setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Experience of assessing and leading risk, with knowledge of health and safety and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work on your own initiative, respond to varying pressures, and lead difficult situations.
- Leadership experience, including good decision-making skills, positive attitude, accountability, and organization skills.
