We are seeking an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join our team at People Marketing. As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will play a key role in supporting our Senior Merchandiser and contributing to the success of our fashion and textiles business.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with sales, sourcing, design, and merchandising teams to ensure efficient order administration.
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to anticipate product demands and drive business growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, factories, and vendors through daily communication and order placement.
- Oversee product development and order delivery in collaboration with factories, ensuring timely and cost-effective production.
- Confirm orders and coordinate bulk production with buyers and vendors, ensuring seamless logistics.
- Handle Letter of Credit (L/C) opening procedures and ensure inspection processes are followed.
- Proven experience in merchandising, production coordination, or a similar role within a supplier, manufacturer, or trading office.
- Fashion and textiles experience is essential, with a strong understanding of production processes and timelines.
- Ability to work independently, with a positive and proactive attitude.
