Sheridan Maine South is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team in Bristol. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for processing invoices and expense claims efficiently and accurately. Your duties will include posting invoices, direct debits, and chasing missing invoices/credits and payments. You will also contribute to process and procedure improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve payment queries is essential. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies is also a critical aspect of the role. Additionally, you will generate reports to identify risks and reallocate costs as required. General finance and administration duties will also be a part of your responsibilities. To be considered for this position, you will need to have previous experience in an accounts payable position or similar financial role. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities are also essential. An aptitude for general IT, and specifically Excel, is required.
