About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Development Management Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our leadership team to engage health and care partners, academics, and other key stakeholders in the design, development, and delivery of our Knowledge Mobilisation strategy and operational plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a broad range of complex activities, including stakeholder engagement, project management, and line management of the Knowledge Mobilisation and Communications team.
  • Develop and implement effective knowledge mobilisation events and resources to support the delivery of our strategy.
  • Work closely with senior academics and clinicians to develop and implement research projects that address health inequalities and improve patient outcomes.
  • Lead and manage staff to deliver results and meet deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across the region.
Requirements
  • Significant experience working in applied health research or research knowledge mobilisation roles.
  • Experience of working in the NHS or social care in a role relevant to our priority areas.
  • Excellent project management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and link active projects to current local and national priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to produce reports for internal and external use.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook software, design and project management tools, and use of virtual platforms such as Zoom and MS Teams.
