Overview

We are seeking an experienced M&A professional to join our team as a Mergers and Acquisitions Finance Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading investment bank on high-profile transactions across various sectors.

Salary

The salary for this role is estimated to be in the range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Mergers and Acquisitions Finance Specialist, you will play a key role in the origination and execution of corporate finance transactions. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions to meet their goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Origination and Execution: Identify new business opportunities and lead the execution of transactions from start to finish.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and objectives.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Presentations and Reporting: Prepare and present high-quality reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Foundational M&A Experience: A strong background in mergers and acquisitions, gained through a reputable education or internship.
  • Financial Analysis Skills: Excellent financial analysis skills, including ability to think commercially.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with ability to present complex ideas clearly.
  • Team Player: A strong team player with ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
