Academic Engagement Specialist

At Wake the Bear, a leading London-based Media & Marketing agency, we're on a mission to help high-growth businesses scale through innovative advertising and communications. As an Academic Engagement Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client experiences and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Collaboration: Work closely with the Client Director to develop and execute creative solutions that meet client briefs and exceed expectations.
- Project Management: Brief, lead, and manage clients and projects, ensuring timely delivery, high-quality work, and alignment with client business objectives.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships, and providing attentive service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Account Management: Coordinate and maintain central account management documents, such as year plans and finance trackers.
- Team Development: Manage and develop Client Executive(s), providing support and guidance to ensure their growth and success.
- Media Landscape Expertise: Possess a solid understanding of the media landscape, including online and offline channels, and how they work together.
- Brief Development: Be well-versed in taking client briefs, developing planning responses, and presenting these back to clients, managing timings and expectations.
- Insightful Communications: Comfortably develop and share insightful communications with clients and teams on market trends and recent developments.
- Professional Development: Actively seek new training opportunities to improve skills and share expertise with team members.
