We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at The Mortgage Home in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to our team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Manage phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars to ensure efficient use of time
- Prepare and organize documents, reports, and correspondence to meet deadlines
- Assist with customer service tasks, including answering queries and providing information
- Maintain and update client records in our database to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support the team with ad-hoc tasks as required, including liaising with mortgage lenders, estate agents, and solicitors to progress applications
- Support Advisers with processing of applications, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organisational abilities, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not essential
- Flexible working, with occasional work-from-home days
- Opportunity to gain industry qualifications with one hour of dedicated training time per week
- A close-knit, friendly team atmosphere, with support and mentoring from experienced professionals
