Job Description

As a Lead Java/Python Developer, you will be part of a dynamic team developing a cutting-edge software platform for the motorsport industry. The platform ingests race and car data, providing valuable insights to racing teams to make informed decisions.

The role involves collaborating with a team of engineers and a quant modeller to design, develop, and maintain the platform. You will work on a range of new features, bug fixes, and growing the application in its early stages.

One of the exciting aspects of this role is the opportunity to attend race days and see the practical implementation of the software you are developing. You will also have the chance to speak with users to understand their requirements further.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Java and Python, with strong experience working with APIs
  • Experience in tech leadership and line management
  • An active interest in the motorsport industry
  • Some experience of JavaScript, experience with React would be an advantage but not a requirement
  • Willingness to work on a product in the early stages of development
  • Ability to travel for race-days across England
