About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Efficiency Lead to join our team at Howden Insurance Brokers Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in driving process improvements and increasing operational efficiency across the Corporate & Commercial Pillar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Regional Operations Managers to coordinate ways of working and lead process improvement workstreams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work across all areas of the business to deliver these, driving operational efficiency, increased revenue, and improved client experience.
  • Agree target metrics with stakeholders to measure 'what good looks like'.
  • Facilitate workshops to document current-state processes, understand pain points, and develop solutions.
  • Develop future-state processes with the business, developing compelling cases for change and resolving any conflicting stakeholder issues that may arise.
  • Owning the timeline of change, being responsible for ensuring the plan for workstreams remains on track, removing obstacles when they arise.
  • Coach colleagues and stakeholders through the issues and solutions, to ensure full understanding and embedding of learning across teams.
  • Owning and improving our phone hunt group strategy.
  • Deliver comprehensive reporting on all activities, initiatives, and progress.
  • Support on strategic initiatives and projects.
Requirements
  • 5+ years relevant experience within the insurance industry, ideally in an operational role.
  • Proven track record of delivery of process improvements.
  • Experience with target operating models, process mapping, design thinking, and workflow analysis.
