About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Steam Cleaner to join our team at Freightliner. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining containers to high standards, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Steam clean containers to customer specifications and schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaned containers and update office staff.
- Keep the yard clean and tidy, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Ensure all paperwork is correct and job sheets are completed.
- Communicate effectively with M&R staff, yard staff, and container repairers.
- Maintain high standards of good housekeeping and health and safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in container maintenance or steam cleaning desirable.
- An excellent learning aptitude and ability to accurately record information.
- Numerical and analytical skills, with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
- A team player with a mature approach to health and safety.
