We are seeking a highly skilled Container Cleaning Specialist to join our team in Felixstowe. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our containers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning containers to customer specifications and schedules, maintaining accurate records and logs, and ensuring that the yard remains clean and tidy. In addition, you will be required to communicate effectively with M&R staff, yard staff, and container repairers to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean containers to customer specifications and schedules
  • Maintain accurate logs and records
  • Ensure the yard remains clean and tidy
  • Communicate effectively with M&R staff, yard staff, and container repairers
  • Understand customer requirements and communicate accurate information on time
  • Maintain high standards of good housekeeping and health and safety

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with containers is desirable
  • Steam cleaning experience is desirable
  • An excellent learning aptitude and ability to accurately record information
  • Numerical and analytical skills, as well as a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving
  • A mature approach to Health and Safety requirements
