Social Work Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Social Work Assistant to join our Community Mental Health Team for Older People. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality social work services to older adults in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess individual needs and develop flexible care packages
- Monitor and review individual care packages
- Work alongside senior workers to carry out specific tasks
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 60 relevant credit points towards a social work degree
- Experience working with older adults with mental health needs
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good planning and organisational skills
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week. You will be required to work flexibly between 8am and 8pm.
Regulated Work
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
