Job Description

This role focuses on the clinical and associated public health nursing of children, young people and their families. As a Nursing Associate within our Special Schools Nursing Service, you will provide high-quality, skilled care to Children & Young People (CYP) in the Special Schools, working alongside Special School Nurses and Allied Health Professionals, and in partnership with Education.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will deliver care within your proven competency as achieved during your Nursing Associate Training.
  • You will be supported by the Special School Nursing Team and supervised by your appointed mentor who will be a senior Special School Nurse.
  • Contribute to the planning, implementation and monitoring of the CYP's care as part of the Special School Nursing Team.
  • This role will include supervision and teaching of trainee or newly qualified Nursing Associates.
About the Role

The estimated salary for this position is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will have a kind, caring and professional attitude towards CYP, their families and colleagues within the clinical setting.
