We are seeking a Night Houseporter to join our team at The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel.

As a Night Houseporter, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
  • Identifying and reporting preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
  • Delivering guest requests and setting up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.
  • Removing items from hallways and transporting to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash placed near Housekeeper carts.
  • Cleaning, maintaining, and storing cleaning equipment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
