SEN and SEMH Learning Assistant

We are recruiting talented individuals to work full-time (Monday to Friday, term-time only) in primary and secondary schools across Barnet. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting children with complex needs while earning a competitive salary.
As a Child Development Professional, you will play a key role in providing support to children with SEN and SEMH challenges. You will work closely with SEN teams, gaining valuable skills and experience.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a SEN and SEMH Support worker. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Psychology and experience working with challenging individuals or in school settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to children with SEN and SEMH challenges.
- Work collaboratively with SEN teams to develop and implement effective support plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress.
Requirements:
- A 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology from a Top 30 university.
- At least 6 months' experience working with challenging individuals or in school settings.
