Job Title: Service Technician

At Stagecoach Group, we are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our Thanet team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our modern fleet of vehicles to ensure our customers can travel safely and comfortably.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair vehicles to a high standard, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults, using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and engineers to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Engineering background with a vehicular focus, including bus, HGV/LGV, truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail, or farm experience
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
