Service Technician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team at Stagecoach Thanet Depot in Ramsgate, Kent.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a modern and varied fleet of vehicles, maintaining and repairing them to ensure our customers can travel safely and comfortably.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buses and other transportation equipment
  • Work with a team of up to 9 technicians to ensure the fleet is in good working order
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve maintenance processes
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by following safety protocols and reporting any hazards or incidents

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering background with a vehicular focus, such as bus, HGV/LGV, truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail, or farm
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of transportation equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to delivering high standards of engineering maintenance and repair
