Master Data Management Role

Burberry is seeking a skilled Master Data Management professional to join our team. As a Master Data Manager, you will be responsible for establishing data management strategies, standards, and policies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement data management policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure the integrity and accuracy of master data.
  3. Monitor and manage data-related issues, analyze and report on master data metrics on a regular basis.
  4. Lead and participate in master data management projects and initiatives including system upgrades, change requests, and process improvements.
  5. Liaise with and interact with all levels of IT and Business management to ensure that data SLA's are met and mitigation plans are formulated and implemented when SLA shortfalls occur.

Requirements

  1. Experience of working in a data operations management role and driving process efficiency and data quality/standards.
  2. Previous experience with PLM, SAP, and/or other central data systems is desirable.
  3. Ability to manage large sets of data and identify and fix errors.
  4. Ability to quickly manipulate data and prepare reports as needed in an environment with large data sets.
