Contract Opportunity for a First Article Inspection Engineer

Endeavour Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled First Article Inspection Engineer to join a leading defence client based onsite in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) activities to ensure compliance with Industrial Validation plans and review supplier FAIs to guarantee they meet requirements.
  • Prepare for First Article Inspections by analyzing manufacturing data-packs and understanding associated processes, gathering necessary information.
  • Produce First Article Inspection reports by auditing and analyzing operations and processes in the manufacturing area.
  • Compile First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) detailing findings from FAI conducted.
  • Review Supplier FAIRs to ensure they meet requirements, liaising with Industrial manufacturing engineers to resolve any issues identified.
  • Quality Audit experience is required.
  • Ability to identify sustainable business improvements and ensure effective implementation.
  • Planning and organizing skills to prioritize and monitor multiple tasks to deliver set objectives.
